We go away on vacation and
actually go around looking for stress because stress is what we know.
Our intentional attempts at relaxation are overcome by guilt and preoccupation
with a past that no longer exists and a future that does not yet exist.
Any change, whether perceived as positive
or negative, produces stress. A change in your daily routine or in your
health status spontaneously produces changes in your body chemistry
which produces specific physical symptoms and effects the way you perceive
the world around you. The good news is that we can use this "mind-body"
connection to our advantage instead of allowing it to take over our
lives and make us feel that we are out of control. We feel that we are
out of control because our reactions to change arise from thought patterns
that developed in our subconscious minds many years ago dating back
to our birth. Many of these thought patterns sought to protect us as
children and are no longer useful to us as adults. They currently serve
only to limit our abilities to reach our fullest potential and live
happy, fulfilled lives.
Stress manifests itself in physical, mental
and emotional symptoms and illnesses. We experience it as pain, migraine
headaches, fears, insomnia, depression, weight gain, compulsions and
any other symptom and illness that the human body and mind can conceive
of. Through the use of hypnosis you can tap into your subconscious mind
where those old, useless thought patterns lie and replace them with
new thought patterns so that your reaction to stress is more realistic,
healthier and more productive.
YOU CAN BE RELAXED AND IN CONTROL!
